These are original American-made Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban Caravan sunglasses that my father purchased directly from a US Army PX during his service in the Vietnam War and has owned ever since. These are top-of-the-line, original antiques produced by Bausch & Lomb in the United States in the 1950s and early 1960s, making them ultra-rare collector's pieces that are different in scarcity and value from today's Italian mass-produced versions or the more common vintages of the 80s and 90s. It is the original model of the square Boeing design worn by Goose and his son Rooster in the movie Top Gun.
