Always Meet in a Public Place
Choose busy, well-lit public locations for your swap β coffee shops, bank lobbies, convenience store fronts, or areas near a police station. Avoid the other person's home or anywhere isolated. Some police stations even offer a dedicated 'safe trade zone' with CCTV β check if your local station has one.
Inspect the Item Thoroughly On the Spot
Never accept an item without checking it in person first. Power on electronics and test all functions before completing the swap. For smartphones, use an IMEI checker to confirm the device isn't stolen or locked. For clothing or books, verify the condition matches the photos provided.
Keep All Communication In-App
Conduct all negotiations through Nada Market's in-app chat. Anyone who insists on moving to an external messenger (text, KakaoTalk) before trust is established is a common red flag. Your chat history is your evidence if a dispute arises later β keep it there.
Red Flags to Watch For
- Offers that seem too good to be true.
- Heavily edited photos that don't match the description.
- Pressure to communicate outside the app immediately.
- Requests to send your item first and receive theirs later.
- Brand-new accounts with no trade history.
If Something Goes Wrong
If you experience fraud or receive an item significantly different from what was described, contact Nada Market support at woridori@gmail.com and file a police report. Preserve all chat history, photos, and the other party's profile information. Nada Market operates as a trading intermediary and will cooperate with dispute resolution, but legal responsibility rests with the trading parties.
